Frostfall, the 18th of the 24 solar terms, means the weather is getting colder and the first frost appears, and is also the last solar term of autumn.

Today's Frost

Frost season and Chongyang Festival interval is short, so since ancient times, frost season also has the custom of climbing high and far away.

‘Eating persimmons at the time of frost, will not runny nose.’ Frost season, when the persimmon is fully ripe, the persimmon at this time of the year is rich in nutrients, loved by the majority of the people. Thus, the custom of eating persimmons at the time of frost is formed.

Tips for preventing cold at the time of frost

Frost season, all things Bi Cheng, Bi into the eleventh day of the month, the sun down into the ground, the yin gas began to condense. Frost temperatures plummet, the temperature difference between day and night is large, the late autumn scene is obvious, the cold air south more and more frequently, need to pay more attention to the cold to keep warm.

Battery maintenance tips
As the weather turns cold, in order to facilitate customers/partners to use battery products better and avoid battery damage caused by climate change, NPP has specially compiled the following battery maintenance notes:

Appropriate ambient temperature

The temperature is low in winter, it is not recommended to place the battery outdoors, the outdoor environment is harsh or the temperature is too low may lead to battery damage. Thermal insulation measures can be taken, such as the use of thermal insulation bags, etc., to ensure that the battery works in the appropriate temperature range.

Reasonable charging and discharging

Charge the battery regularly to ensure that it remains fully charged and to reduce loss of capacity. In winter, it is even more important to keep the battery charged as its capacity is easily affected by low temperatures.

Avoid over-discharging the battery as much as possible and charge it promptly after use. Too frequent deep discharge will reduce the life of the battery.

Keep dry, reasonable storage

Batteries are very sensitive to humid environments, which may lead to battery corrosion.

Ensure that the battery is stored in a dry, ventilated environment and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture. Make sure to keep away from dangerous objects, such as corrosive chemicals, dangerous mechanical equipment, etc.

Regular Inspection

Regularly check the appearance to detect possible problems such as damaged casing, corrosion or fluid leakage.

Regularly check the performance to understand the working condition of the battery. Battery parameters can be measured using professional test equipment.

Special Precautions

For batteries, the electrolyte density needs to be checked and adjusted to meet the requirements of the season. It is not recommended to stack multiple batteries or place heavy objects on them to avoid impact damage.

If you need to mail or transport the batteries, please contact the relevant NPP Napper staff for professional guidance on packaging to prevent damage to the batteries during transport.
